  • Gene Hackman is one of the most brilliant actors, a novelist, artist and, a former marine. Gene Hackman is a genius man who is an all-rounder and a talented man. 
  • Gene Hackman has worked in the acting industry for nearly 50 decades. He has made a name for himself in the film industry and won several awards. Moreover, he has 4 Golden Globes, 2 Academy Awards, 2 BAFT’S, and One Screen Actors Guild award to his name.  
  • Some of his memorable films are Jimmy Popeye Doyle in the movie named French connection (1971), buck barrow in Bonnie and Clyde (1967), a villainous character as Rupert Anderson in Mississippi burning (1988). Other honorable mentions are Hoosiers, unforgiven, get shorty, the conversation, etc.
  • At present, he is 91 years and living a healthy life. 

Childhood 

Eugene Allen Hackman was born on January 30, 1930, to Lydda Elizabeth and Eugene Ezra Hackman, in San Bernardino, California, USA. He has a younger brother named Richard.

Later his family settled in Danville, Illinois, where they resided at his maternal grandmother’s house. Hackman’s father started working at the printing press for a local newspaper, ‘TheCommercial News’. However, his father left the family as the couple consequently divorced in 1943.
