Biography of Will Smith

 Williard Christopher Will Smith, Jr. (English: Will Smith; born 25 September 1968) is an American actor, film-maker, and rapper. He has enjoyed success in music, television and film. In April 2007, Newsweek called him the most powerful actor on the planet. Smith has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards and has won numerous Grammy Awards.

In the late eighties, Smith achieved substantial success as a rapper by the name of The Fresh Prince. However, his fame rose to prominence in 1990 when he starred in the popular television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The show ran for nearly 6 years (1990–1996) on NBC and has since been broadcast on various networks continuously. In the mid-nineties, Smith moved from television to films and eventually starred in several blockbuster films.

Who went on to achieve widespread success at the box office. In fact, he is the only actor in history to have eight consecutive films grossing more than $ 100 million at the domestic box office, as well as the only actor to have eight consecutive films starring at the domestic box office Opened. Family and Early Life

Smith was born and raised in West Philadelphia and Germantown in northwest Philadelphia. Her mother, Caroline (ex-surname (nee Bright), was a school administrator serving on the Philadelphia School Board and her father, Williard Christopher Smith, Sr., was a refrigeration engineer. He grew up as a Baptist [Christian initiation guru] When he was thirteen, his parents separated and when he divorced, Smith was thirty-two years old.

Smith's adorable and mischievous behavior at school earned him the nickname "Prince", which eventually changed to "Fresh Prince". While still in his teens, Smith began rapping and later worked with Jeff Towns (also known as DJ Jazzy Jeff), whom he had met at a party.
